Anthony Rauseo

Biography:  Anthony M. Rauseo, Jr.
General Manager – Sales and Marketing

Anthony Rauseo is the founder and general manager of Big Bear Rustic LogAnthony Rauseo - General Manager – Sales and Marketing Homes. Big Bear brings together the top experts combined with the highest quality workmanship and materials available in the log home business.

Before forming Big Bear Rustic Log Homes, Anthony researched over 30 log companies and mills throughout the United States and Canada. Before deciding which companies would become his strategic partners, he invested over 18 months of his time conducting on-site visits of the various mills, as well as interviews with the principals and builders of the log manufacturers. After putting all of the pertinent and necessary information together, it became clear that there were certain facets that were a priority for Big Bear Rustic Log Homes:

  • Conservation and environmental considerations
  • Process controls
  • Efficient construction methodologies
  • Utilizing technology to solve business problems and save money when building a log home

It has also been determined that the log home industry is poised for exponential growth in the next 15-20 years. During this time, America's "Baby Boomers" will be looking to invest in that vacation home. Rather than buying a pre-fab or older log home, why not consult with the best log home experts in the business? Combine this expertise with that of the Neville Log Company and you can own a log home, built to YOUR specifications, sized anywhere from 1,000 sq ft to 9,000sq ft. Big Bear uses the most modern milling, construction and energy conservation techniques available in the business today.

Anthony recently completed his own 4,500 sq ft log home in Harrison, ME., which now serves as a model for the quality workmanship he and his staff bring to the job.

Prior to Big Bear Rustic Log Homes Anthony was a Microsoft executive employed as their National Technology Director. Prior to this he has worked for GTE, Unisys and Sprint in varying executive, engineering and sales positions.

Anthony holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Boston University and an MBA in Finance from Northeastern University

Modeling a home design for clients is one of the most important steps in the process of designing a home for our clients. This enables you to see the finished product and get a visual idea of the home. Visualizing what a home will be when completed is very hard for the average person. Modeling a home opens up a new avenue to home designing that wasn’t available years ago.

Log homes are very special as are all of their owners. If you haven’t been in a log home or stayed in log home on vacation, what have you been waiting for? If you like a warm fire, a quiet comfortable home that oozes with romance, then take a long weekend and experience log home living. You’ll be glad you did.
